Behind The Scenes
Hector
Hector follows a Colombian migrant worker living undocumented in the UK, navigating long hours, exploitation, and the constant pressure of making enough money to support his family back home. As he works overtime to send money home, the distance from his loved ones becomes increasingly difficult to bear. Blending documentary realism with fiction, the film offers an intimate portrait of Hector's daily life and the sacrifices he makes in pursuit of a better future for his family.
Shot on ARRI Alexa Mini.
Guppies
Starring Mathilda Holland, Siu Hun Li, David Riveros, Yuya Toyoizumi, and a rubber fish.
Thehre Ajnabi: Watershed
When a once-loving marriage descends into manipulation and abuse, a woman pushed beyond her breaking point faces an unthinkable choice between survival and the love that destroyed her. A short film by Hassan Ahmed Raja, produced by Harf Factory.
Starring Nadia Amjad and Sardaar Nabeel. A Harf Factory production.
Tohfa: The Present
In a quiet, affluent home, a long-awaited exchange of gifts sets off an unexpected emotional reckoning. As unspoken tensions surface between a distant father and his daughter, the value of a gift begins to shift — revealing that generosity isn't measured by price, but by what one is willing to give up. Starring Ahmed Taha Ghani, Tohfa / The Present is an intimate short film about class, care, and the moments that force us to see beyond ourselves.
Cast: Ahmed Taha Ghani, Fatima, Jamal, Khadija, Durr-e-Najaf Rizwan. Undergraduate final thesis project — Film & Television, University for the Creative Arts (UCA) & TMUC Islamabad.
